Logistics foreman keeps things on track

Senior logistics foreman, Lee Ellis

Lee Ellis is thriving in the fast-paced and complex field of logistics. A Senior Logistics Foreman, Lee’s responsibilities at Kangra includes overseeing road maintenance, discard dump management, and coal haulage. “Although you get into a routine, there is something new every day. Logistics has so many challenges that keep you busy,” says Lee.

Before venturing into logistics, Lee worked as a diesel mechanic assistant, an assistant shift supervisor and shift supervisor. Lee has been working at Kangra for about six months and is studying towards a degree in logistics and transport with UNISA. He hopes to complete his studies next year.
