Job Post: Miner

The ideal applicant will meet the following requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Standard 10)

  • Blasting Certificate

  • Continuous Miner Certificate

  • Gas Testing and Flameproof Certificate

  • Driver’s License code B/EB

  • Competent A Certificate

  • At least 2 years coal mining inbye experience

Skills and abilities:

  • Be able to read and write

  • Good leadership skills

  • People Management

  • Conflict Management

  • Risk Management

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Comply with appointments including regulations and Mine Health and Safety Act

  • Area Safe Making

  • Production Control

  • Labour Control

  • Planning, leading, organize and control

  • Participate in mine safety programme
