Job Post: CM Operator

Situated in the Piet Retief/Panbult area, ± 65 km from Piet Retief, Kangra Coal (Pty) Ltd. is a modern, mechanized mine. This Colliery has the following vacancy:

The ideal applicant will meet the following requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Komatsu/Joy Continuous Miner license

  • Minimum Grade 10 / Std 8

  • Grade 12 will be advantageous

  • Dover test passed

Experience:

  • Atleast 3 years of proven CM operating experience

Skills and abilities:

  • Operate Continuous Miner productively meeting industry KPIs benchmarks

  • Able to lead a team

  • Safety orientated

  • Able to work under minimal supervision
